A serial killer…the Aztec god of death?

Puebla City, Mexico, 1991.

In the tropical night-time heat, someone is hunting women. The corpses are piling up, but in a landscape where violence against women is endemic, the activity of a serial killer can easily slip beneath the radar.

Armando is a burnt-out cop, jaded and corrupt. His life unfolds in a shadowy world of illegality and vice.

However, an encounter with a little girl causes him to see the world through new eyes, offering him the possibility of redemption as he pursues the phantom figure whose namesake belongs to the Aztec god of death … Mictlāntēcutli.
